What does it mean to bring Zoro into the life of your congregation?
From everyday people of all ages, to pastors and church leaders, Zoro’s contributions to the ministry are deeply appreciated.
Read the some of the incredible response to Zoro's appearance on the Joyce Meyers show, "Enjoying Everyday Life"

“Ladies and gentlemen; young people might not receive me with a three-piece suit and a three-piece outline, but this guy has got the style, the personality, the platform; the background that will get young peoples’ attention.
"Even the Apostle Paul said, “I will become all things to all people that I might by some means win some.” I mentioned yesterday in my message that, “…the message is sacred, but the method is not.” It takes all styles and approaches to reach all types of people.
"So I want to encourage you Pastors, Youth pastors, Ministers of music to get Zoro to come and be a blessing to your ministry.”
- Marcus Lamb - Founder, Daystar Television
"When you look at Zoro you see a new side of God. When you listen to his story, you hear the heart of the Father. He lives for Jesus with boldness and integrity. There is power in knowing and being who you are in Christ. Zoro inspires all of us to walk in that freedom."
- Mia Evans -
Producer/Reporter, The 700 Club
Zoro was one of the best interviews Helpline has ever had! Not only
was his personal testimony powerful but his phenomenal drum solo prompted a spontaneous standing ovation from our television audience. I can truly say we were blessed to have Zorro on our show and I encourage others to book this uniquely talented man of God.”
Holly McClure - Producer – Helpline!
It was a divine appointment to have Zoro as a guest on HELPLINE.
His message was awesome and truly ministered to our audience in a very special way. We are still being blessed by his God given talent. It was more than a musical presentation. Thank you for your faithfulness to the Lord Zoro!
Dr. Morris Cerullo – Helpline!
As Zoro made his way onto our set it was evident we were in the presence of a man after God’s own heart. Seeing him interact with our host, jam with the fire of the Holy Spirit and back stage as a tender father with his precious children was heartwarming – evidence of immense blessing and calling God has put on his life.
Zoro’s passion and desire for others to receive restoration and redemption through Christ is palpable. He is one of the best guests we have ever had on the HELPLINE stage.
- Rochelle R. Veturis- Programming Coordinator,
HELPLINE Productions
“I just wanted to thank you again for blessing us this morning!! What you shared was so timely and really touched the hearts of our girls. Thank you for being so obedient to the Spirit of God. Only eternity will reveal the impact you have made. We are so grateful for the time you took to minister both here in Nashville and in St. Louis.”
Hannah Crockett
Director of Public Relations
Mercy Ministries – Nashville, Tn
Thanks again for being with us Zoro. People were really blessed by your ministry. Blessings.
Harry Thomas – Founder and President of The Creation Festival
Zoro was a great facilitator, able to work within time restraints and be flexible. He got the students attention through his musical talent and notoriety. He was able to draw on his experience, influence, and affluence in mainstream culture to connect with the students on a different level, encouraging them to use their talents to help benefit those in need around them. He also made himself accessible to students after the service which was quite refreshing.
- Evelyn Moore - University Worship Director,
La Sierra University - Riverside, Ca
Zoro brought to our campus an authentic approach to issues of sexuality and fidelity to God. He was honest without being sensationalistic, straightforward without being preachy, and relevant to students without pretending to be one of them. He did a superb job of drawing on his own experience in the music industry to underscore the ways that our sexuality needs to be redeemed by the God who loves us and gave himself for us in Christ.
- Dr. Todd L. Lake - Vice President for Spiritual Development
Belmont University - Nashville, TN
"Thanks for coming to LHC we really enjoyed you. I know there are other drummers that are very good, but what sets you apart is that you are truly drumming for Jesus, and it shows in your playing.
What an amazing heart you have for God.You are an inspiring speaker, I had many people come up to me and tell me you have really helped them see more clearly for what God has for them.
I asked a good friend of mine if he enjoyed your message, and I quote what he said. "It was a life changing night for me, I see things different" Zoro, you are gifted drummer, but you are a gifted speaker as well. Thank you again for coming to LHC and blessing us.
We will see you again."
-
Dave Clinton, Worship Pastor, Living Hope Church
Thank you so much for coming and speaking/performing at the event. The event went great and we felt that God was definitely working through Joy and yourself. I attached a draft summary that we started preparing. There are a few quotes in there at the bottom also.
“Zoro’s presentation was powerful and relevant to all in attendance. While his speaking ability and musical talent were impressive, what really made an impact on people’s hearts was God speaking through him.”
- Tim Feng
"Syracuse Alliance Church was doubly blessed by Zoro when he agreed to speak at our Sunday morning worship service. As he shared his passion and energy to the congregation and then demonstrated his talent again on the drums, we were made fully aware of the depth of the talent that God has blessed him with. Many in the congregation were impacted by Zoro’s dynamic presentation:
“My heartfelt thanks to the Crossroads people for an excellent job done with this concert! I can't begin to tell you how much we were blessed - especially with Zoro's testimony! It spoke to my heart especially about how with everything he does, he does to the best of his ability for Jesus - including cleaning the bathrooms! What a tremendous testimony and humble servant of the Lord! (And we loved his drums, too!)”
“I thought Zoro's message was incredible. I wondered how many people came back on Sunday who don't go to our church normally (and came to see Zoro). I thought it was a great idea to share him with our congregation. Zoro handled the differences in musical "tastes" well in his intro.. I thought his message on Sunday was good too!”
"Our church is benefiting greatly by your enthusiasm and energy together with that of the other leaders of Crossroads, with this type of outreach to young adults in Syracuse and in the surrounding areas. It is a heavy load to carry, but your commitment to this ministry is well founded on the Lord granting you the strength and giving you the direction needed to present the Gospel to the un-reached in this way.”
"We look forward to God’s continued movement in our area. Zoro and Joy Williams both added a lot of good fuel to our flame, which has been burning in Syracuse. Even as we look forward to future events, we look back on this event and can truly sense God’s presence in our midst."
- Crossroads Fellowship and Syracuse Alliance Church
"I continually keep you in my prayers and thank God each and every
day for the ministry that you had here at Cedarville. I have continued
to receive nothing but compliments and thank you for the ministry that
you had here and for the impact that you had on the students that
attended the show. You were not only an encouragement to so many in the
crowd, but to me as well during the time we spent together. I thank you
so much for that. You truly are an ambassador of Jesus Christ. He has given you such a
talent and has allowed you to use that talent to minister to the world.
"You were such an encouragement to me, not only because of you saying that Christ is all you need, but by living it out
in your daily walk. I talked to my father who pastors a church in Michigan and he has continued to tell me of what a
great job you did here at Cedarville. He has specified to me that he will continue to keep you in his prayers,
and he thanks you again for the impact that you had on his life and the
ministry that you have. He knows you are a very special individual that
God is using to impact the world. May God continue to work and mold you to be more like his
son as you go forth preaching the saving power of Jesus Christ."
- Josh Townsend,
Alpha Chi Vice President, Cedarville University
"Zoro’s history and life experiences really grabbed the attention of our roughly 1200 high school students. It was then that a very fluid and solid message from his heart was able to penetrate into the lives of the student body. Zoro was able to touch on a number of different subjects from a variety of angles all focused on one main topic: what it means to follow Jesus. I look forward to having Zoro minister to our students in the future."
-
Ryan Hinn, Chaplain/Bible Teacher -
Valley Christian High School
"Zoro has a very unique gift and calling! As a world renowned drummer for some of the greatest rock stars of our generation, Zoro has an inroad into the hearts and lives of many people worldwide. Because of his steadfast and faithful heart for the Lord, Zoro too is enlarging his sphere of influence by ministering the Word!
"A gifted communicator, Zoro has a unique, bold and powerful way to minister the truths of God’s love and grace. Zoro is a tremendous soul winner and would bring tremendous motivation and spiritual momentum into the lives of anyone who listens to him.
Knowing Zoro for over the past decade, I can heartily endorse his life, character and preaching gift. I would recommend his ministry to any church or group who chooses to grow in the Lord and be effective in the discipling people in this hour. Please welcome Zoro’s friendship into your life as I know his ministry will be a great blessing to you."
- Keith Hershey, President of Mutual Faith Ministries
“Zoro is a talented musician, but also a man committed to sharing the good news! If you are looking for a person who does not waver in his walk with God, muddles the Truth or makes things "feel" good. If you are looking for a person who stands on the solid Rock of Truth and is unwilling to compromise that Truth, then you need to have Zoro speak for your youth group or church soon.”
- Tim Homa, Youth Pastor - Central Christian Church, Las Vegas, NV
“It was quite an impressive story to hear of how a young man reached s uccess in the highly competitive professional music world and has achieved a positive, world wide reputation as not only a prolific and respected drummer, but as a dedicated and committed Christian. It was a story of encouragement for the youth, and it spoke to all of the adults who attended as well.”
- Betty Blaser, Youth Director -Community Lutheran Church, Las Vegas, NV
“We were greatly inspired by Zoro’s talent and most of all by his witness and dedication to God's call in your life. After his message, many of the youth went away with renewed hope that they could succeed at anything God had called them to do.”
- Brent R. Taber, Youth Minister - King’s Community Church, South Holland, IL
“Zoro has a great love for the Lord and a desire to see young people changed with the gospel of Christ. Zoro presents the gospel in a powerful and contemporary way combining his musical talents, biblical truth and personal testimony.”
- Rev. Carl Lordi - Evangelical Assembly of God
“Zoro is a man who is committed to a life of discipleship under Jesus Christ. He is sensitive to other faith traditions, yet is uncompromisingly clear in his love for Jesus Christ and the integration of his faith and life.”
- Donald F Hinchey, D.Min, Pastor – Our Father Lutheran Church, Littleton, CO
“All people, especially teens, will gain from Zoro’s personal testimony and humorous illustrations. Many unsaved people, who have probably never come into a church, came to our church when Zoro spoke.”
- Richard Box, Pastor – Hallelujah Fellowship, Las Vegas, NV
“As an independent Christian school representing over one hundred evangelical denominations, we were eager to receive more than just a motivational pep talk. I was greatly impressed by Zoro's rich and abundant use of scriptures and Biblically based principles, all of which combined to create a powerful and doctrinally sound curriculum.”
- Steven Gray, Ph D, Superintendent – Pasadena Christian School, Pasadena, CA
“There are too few men like Zoro anywhere in the world. He has a genuine love for young people and their need to hear the message of the Gospel. You should do your ministry a service by having him to come and minister to your adults or young people.
- Wayne Mitchell, Minister to Youth - Oakcliff Bible Fellowship, Dallas, TX
“Zoro’s passion for the Lord, zeal and insight proved to be a wonderful encouragement to us all. For days after his visit I heard time and time again people sharing how they were encouraged, blessed and challenged by his words.”
- Senior Pastor Phil Robillard - Vineyard Christian Fellowship, Newbury Park, CA
We loved having Zoro at St. Louis Family Church. He is a gifted communicator and musician, who possesses a contagious passion for the Lord and for worship. His time with us left a lasting impact on our worship team, and on our church. I highly recommend him.
- Cory Edwards, Music Director - St. Louis Family Church

The following group of testimonials are from Zoro's appearance at Mercy Ministries in St. Louis, MO.
Molly – I learned to be diligent in my pursuit of God. I have to turn off the fantasy (my life at home is fantasy when I watch TV). I have to turn on the truth; God’s Word is truth. I learned that I need to journal and I don’t journal because I am afraid to journal about my past. My plan of action is to seek God’s face. I will not stop pursuing the Lord. When I return home I will not get caught up in the soap opera fantasy that I used to.
Andrea – I learned that God uses my past and has me go through things to come out victorious. God will use my eating disorder and lesbianism to help show me who He is. God has a plan and a destiny for me and my vision. God will use me to help people overcome addictions. My plan of action is not to let the world deceive me into thinking what the world says is good. I will remember who I am in Christ.
Leslie – This message made me question my heart. He really made me think and ask myself, “Am I giving God access to my whole heart?” God longs to do amazing things in people whose hearts are fully open to Him. I want to pursue God with all of my heart. No amount of earthly achievements will ever fulfill me – only God. My plan of action is to really search my heart and pray to see if there is anything I am holding back from Him or any part of me I am not letting Him into. I will let the Holy Spirit minister to me on this issue and not be afraid of what He might tell me. I want my whole heart completely open to God.
Sara – This guy is the real deal; He stood up in front of us and wept because He saw such value in us as daughters of God. I know for a fact that God sent Him to us. I’ve never seen or known someone who was a stranger tell me I have such value and worth. Listening to Him made me feel and believe God’s love. I want to grab hold of my destiny and move forward with things. He said something like, “You are going to become for others what you have wanted others to be for you.” This is interesting and I’d like to think more about it. My plan of action is to allow myself to be loved as God’s daughter.
Madge – What impacted me the most was that the love of God shined so brightly through him. Talk about loving people to Jesus, he talked so simply and ran with what God has given Him. I need to stop thinking of all the negative things that need to be done. I have a Kingdom and a King who wants to give me everything if only I believe and love Him. That is not hard to do, so I guess I should stop whining and complaining. I am in love with my God and proud of it. My plan of action is to be a God-pleaser and not a people-pleaser. I will let the guards of my heart down.
Meagan – I realized how much control I have over what comes in and what affects how I will think and live. I thought before that people could directly affect my heart and the situations I’m in. While I cannot always block everything out with my eyes and ears, I can allow it to stop before it becomes something I dwell on. I think it is going to be a conscious decision at first and I will have to quickly realize where my thoughts are headed. My plan of action is to stop thinking thoughts that hinder my healing. I can use my authority to command satan to leave and for Jesus to come to take control. Whenever I have thoughts of jealously or anger towards someone, I will immediately choose to think a good thought.
Kari – Hearing a man speak in our house has increased my vision for what God wants me to know about men. I did not have a clear view of men because I didn’t have good role models in my life. I appreciated what he said about not preaching the Word to people but to demonstrate the love of God. I loved what he said about being a diamond in the rough; although I may not have been discovered yet doesn’t mean I won’t be discovered. My plan of action is to create memories with my family not by preaching to them but by demonstrating the love of God. I will start my day off with listening to praise and worship.
Aubrey – This message was awesome and it was such a blessing to hear him speak. What impacted me the most from this message was to be diligent in my pursuit of the Lord. Also it is up to me how much I open my heart to receive God’s love. My plan of action is to continue to open my heart and receive God’s love. I will invite God into my heart to heal me.

Hi Zoro! I just want to say that I extremely enjoyed hearing you talk today when I watched Joyce Meyer's show. I watch her show every day and I love every guest she has on the show, but let me tell you that you inspired me more than you ever know. I have watched the show 4 times today and today isn't over with!!! I usually watch the show at 7:30am and I loved it so much that I watched the show again at 8:00am. After I fed my boys, we went to the gym and I told a friend there that she had to watch the show, so I put the channel on the show at 9:30am and it was amazing to watch as each person working out would stop and listen (even the ones who scoffed at watching Joyce Meyer).
Then, my husband just got home and we watched it together online a few minutes ago. So... I just want to say that could clearly see the love you have for GOD and I could feel his presence when you talked. I cried each and every time I watched the show. Hearing what you had to say was just a confirmation that I am headed in the right direction and I felt as if GOD was talking to me through you. So, continue what you are doing!! Again, THANK YOU for taking the time to be on Joyce's show. God Bless
- Leona Baker
Saw your program w/Joyce Meyers & loved your testimony & everything you had to say. Would very much like to purchase DVD or VHS videos of you speaking / giving testimony, etc. Would like to show it to the youth in our church. Thank you so much.
- Rena J Crane
Hi, I saw you on Joyce Meyer the other day. You are a walking witness for the Lord and you truly have a heart for people. I wish there were more people out there that loved the Lord like you and look at the internal instead of the external. It really warmed my heart when you told the story about your little boy being nice to the kid in his class when no one else took the time. I hope you continue to reach the world for Jesus Christ (you are one of his warriors.) God Bless You and Yours,
-
Jenny David

I just wanted to send you a note to thank you for your message on Joyce Meyers. My children all play instruments and I am showing them your discussion with Joyce, so they can see how they can do their ministry through their music and how they can influence the world around them, just by being that light to anyone they encounter. You are truly blessed. I thank you. God bless you and your family.

Zoro, I just wanted to let you know that my wife Diane and I watched you this morning on Joyce Mayer and that we were very moved by your spirit of love. As a 38 year old father of two boys, including one who is a 2nd grader, I was moved to tears when you told the story of your 2nd grade son who you have taught to be the light in a dark world and to love others as Jesus loved us. Thank you for being a positive influence. Keep fighting the fight and leading people to Jesus by example!!
God bless.
- Tom Hayes
Good Morning Zoro, I watched you last night on the Joyce Meyer Ministry and just wanted to say to you that you are a positive inspiration and I pray God's richest blessings on you and your family. Last night my wife came home and tuned in to Joyce as she usually does and I was walking through the room and caught a glimpse of you and at first glance I thought that she was offering you some counsel, (please forgive me) I had to sit down and listen to what was taking place.
The first thing I said to my wife is "look he has earrings" When I heard the things that came out of your mouth I felt the spirit moving in me, you see I have been trying to "fit the mold" of a Christian for quite some time now I have removed my earrings due to a elderly woman at church telling me that it's inappropriate and what not, I also have tattoos on my arms and chest and find myself very cautions about where I wear t-shirts but in my heart I'm nothing like the stigma that follows these things.
Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for being you and following the heart of God regardless of your outward appearance you have truly inspired me. P.S That doesn't mean I'm going to wear tank tops to church and what not but I am far more educated since hearing you on the program.
God Bless!!
- Jace Keating
I tuned into Joyce Meyers and saw this wonderful person, you. I looked up your website and here you are! I enjoyed your interview...hope to see and hear a lot more about you and your music. Thank you for being one of the "Good People of the Earth". God Bless. Sincerely,

Please add me to your mailing list. Blessings.

Hey Man, I saw you on Joyce Meyer's show this morning and was blown away by something you said. You said that people come up to you and tell you they can see and feel the glory of God when you're playing. You went on to say that it is because you are a warrior for God. How cool is that???? I connected to your comment and I knew right then that I am a warrior too. Thanks for you're service and enthusiasm!!!!

Hi Z! Just wanted to send you a note letting you know that you inspired me this morning. I could not sleep, and got up early. I turned on the t.v. and just happened to hit a "paid programming" channel that had Joyce Meyer on. I stopped to watch your interview with her. Thank you for your blessings!
Have a wonderful day!

Dear Zoro, just wanted to say that I just saw you on Joyce Meyer and you are awesome!...I am 50, a mother of 4,and cant wait for my youngest (17) to wake up so I can tell him to watch the episode ...Jacob has the gift of words and encouragement like you and he gets so jazzed by seeing others who operate in their gifts...thank you so much for being a light in the world ...Blessings to you!!...In God's Love,
- Susan Katko
Zoro, I turned on my TV at 6am this morning as I was giving my baby a bottle, and there you were on Joyce Meyers. I'd never heard of you before, but I was still very inspired by you being a creative artist yet a Christian who ministers to others. I'm one of those who has turned away from the church because I felt judged on the outside and because I don't believe in magic water or special sequences of words to pay lip service. I feel as if most Christians are more unlike Jesus than some who never go to church, and that if Christ walked the earth today, they would laugh at him and say he was a just crazy bum! They worship money and themselves, and then say I am unworthy because I have tattoos and listen to rock music.
Your words on Joyce Meyer's show brought tears to my eyes and really helped me realize that God does have a purpose for me and loves me. Your purpose is obviously to reach those like us, who would otherwise be lost, and you have truly used your gifts to do that. God bless you! Thanks again, you have helped me with just one little TV spot!
- Ann and Brock Hancock
Dear Zoro, My name is Sandra Price, I don’t usually write to people who I see on TV but when I heard your encouraging words and what you stand for yet you deal with the world in your own way and seem to keep your head above the things that could draw you in to a world of sin in the music industry). Thank you for your time. I pray for your continued success and favor in all your endeavors. God Bless.

Hi Zoro, My wife and I have been watching Joyce Meyer for several years now. Seeing you on the 'coming up' episode I thought of a ringmaster (not that there's anything wrong with that,) but we automatically passed judgment. Watching you this morning I absolutely loved you. It is a sad fact that we judge others. We should love others for who they are, and, where they are at. I thank you.
- Mike Kennon
God bless u my brother ...I saw u today on Joyce Meyer's program and I just wanted to tell you how much u blessed me. Man O' God I got to have u as a friend cause your anointing is off the charts!!! - Christian Phillips
Zoro, I just watched the Joyce Meyer segment last night and made a note to write you this morning. I wanted to tell you that as I watched, I was specifically impressed with the way you communicated to your son Jarod about the kid at his school. I was very impressed.
If I can offer one person's observation, I would like to tell you that that story did two things for you. First, it showed the "real-ness" of Zoro the Drummer. You came across as a 'real' person, a 'real' parent, raising 'real' children in a 'real' world. Too many interviews, even on Christian stations, seem to show Christians "saying" that they live a normal life, but the "realness" does not come through. In your interview, it did. Thank you.
Then, as you talked about the guidance you gave Jarod, you showed true Christian insight to the situation. You had the "parent" in you wanting to protect your child, but you also showed real concern for the other child. I was truly touched. Congratulations, my friend, you guided your son closer to our Lord. I would like you to know that wherever you are, I am one person praying for you. You - Zoro the Drummer, and Zoro the Husband and Father.
- Rob Adams
Dear Zoro, I saw you on Joyce Meyer's program, which I watch daily because she has a great message. I really loved the story about your son and the way he already knows how to influence people in a Godly way. It was a beautiful story everyone can learn from. I'm going to try to be a blessing from now on, rather than a burden. If I can't do it, then I can't teach my children to do it. My hat is off to you for being such a good parent. Thanks for the reminder and for sharing a beautiful story that touched my heart. I am going to pass the story along to my children. God bless you and have a great day!
- Lane McDuffie
